This is Brigitte Beraha’s third release with her band of Lucid Dreamers featuring Brigitte Beraha – voice, Alcyona Mick – piano / synth, George Crowley – tenor Sax / bass clarinet / electronics and Tim Giles – drums / electronics. Drawing from the jazz, folk, contemporary classical, free improv and electronic realms, here you will find poignant songs, atmospheric and open improvisations, exciting grooves and impactful stillness. The album’s new music is a meeting of chamber and electronic worlds through Brigitte’s compositions and improvisations from the quartet, performed with passion, creativity and humour. Its themes tackle the absurdity and the beauty of words, how much of the future is already written and the meaning and importance of our lives on this earth.
