Eadarainn a’ Chruit : Between Us the Harp is Scottish harper Karen Marshalsay’s second album. Consisting of sixteen tracks of mostly solo harp music, both traditional and Karen’s own tunes, it also features guest appearances from Irish music legend Cathal McConnell (vocals and flute), Scottish harp doyenne Alison Kinnaird, Gaelic song and piping master Allan MacDonald and former Glenfiddich Fiddle Champion Kathryn Nicholl on viola. Eadarainn a’ Chruit : Between Us the Harp celebrates connections – between the musicians, the music, the melodies, the words and the rhythms, people and places, and Scotland and Ireland – with the harp at the centre of it all.
