Hearts and Sleeves, released in 2009, is the debut album from Perth-based rockers The Windows. The songs were written by singer and rhythm guitarist Athole Flemming, who says of the album; “Hearts And Sleeves is an eclectic mix of some songs that we perform live, plus a couple of little unusual numbers in the mix. There are 16 songs on the album, and the aim was to make a record so that listeners could hear them as they sound inside my head. So, we have instruments like piano, Hammond, cello, viola, sitar and even a stylophone on the tracks, all sorts of things really.”
