Charlie Harrigan has been out of the limelight for some time now. However, he has recently come back to music with new album Wasted and Wounded. Some years ago Charlie was described by the Belfast Newsletter as “a sort of Billy Connolly, Luke Kelly and Tom Paxton rolled into one.” Today he thinks of himself as more of a sort of Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Alex Campbell and Derroll Adams. Whether it is an intimate folk club or a festival main stage Charlie is guaranteed to take you on a journey with some songs, stories, laughs and tears along the way.
